ACAWAI-CS is one of nine Cultural Heritage & Digital Humanities projects which received funding in the second round of proposals (2019) of the eHeritage programme sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). First announced in 2016, the programme aims at a digitization of cultural heritage to enhance access and research on the “cultural treasures” housed at museums, archives, and libraries.
